Machinery Safety
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER) states that employers must carry out risk assessments and provide work equipment that is suitable for its intended use and that can be used without putting employees at risk. PUWER covers all work equipment (i.e. machinery, appliances, tools, etc).
PUWER requires employers to ensure that work equipment safety inspection is carried out:
~ Prior to equipment being put into use for the first time; or after
major modification or transportation to a new place.
~ After work
equipment has been exposed to adverse conditions for which it was not
specifically designed.
~ At periodic intervals to ensure on going
integrity and compliance.
Work equipment inspections must be adequately documented.

Health and safety Management
Kani Engineering is capable of providing Health and safety management system that provides a structured means of achieving a safe work place from initial assessment of risk associated with your operational activities through the provision of internal procedures and processes with which a level of safety can be achieved.
The provision of health and safety management system is a regulatory
requirement. Failure to provide such system within your work place will result
in some kind of loss to businesses. It is the duty of the management controls by
the way of the health and safety management procedures to ensure that the health
and welfare of the plant and personnel is maintained under all foreseeable plant
conditions (normal and abnormal)
HSE AUDITING
A robust audit process is always present in any successful Health & Safety Management system. FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT
Kani Engineering Provides fire risk assessment for industrial premises as part of its suite of specialist health and safety consultancy services.
We can provide assessments for the small single storey buildings through to the largest designed for many hundreds of personnel
Our approach to carrying out fire risk assessments is the same as all of our other specialist consultancy services. We provide a pragmatic approach in terms of safety maximisation whilst minimising the cost of compliance.
